History

About 30 years ago, the former international player Torsten Winter founded the badminton brand "Fly".
He belonged to the German representative team, which was the first that travelled to Asia for a friendly game against Red-China.
Since badminton products were pretty expensive in these times, he used the contacts to China in order to offer balls and rackets for his favoured sport to the German market via direct mailing.
Since then, Fly Badminton is based in Hessian Kelkheim - the home of Torsten Winter.

In many years, the brand Fly has emerged into a small, but high-quality and reliable supplier of badminton articles with an excellent price/quality relation.
The top-product, the feather shuttlecock "Turnier" has established as a constant - particularly in the heavily contested market Hesse.
But all other products as well can convince through the Asian direct importing with an extreme attractive price and first-class quality.

After the age-related handover of the company's management to his son Henning Winter, Fly Badminton has been taken over by Wolfgang Bindemann in the summer of 2009.
He manages one of the largest specialist shops for badminton in the Rhein-Main-Region for about 15 years.
In the salesroom in Offenbach and especially through the online shop www.badminton-outlet.de the fly products are sold exclusively throughout Europe by a young team of five members.
